When you save and reopen a SAS^® Data Integration Studio job that contains an Update transformation with nested subqueries, you might receive the following error:

This error occurs when you try to run the job or when you click the Code tab in the Job Editor window.

To work around this issue, complete these steps:

1. When the job is first built and functioning, open the Properties of the Update transformation.
2. On the Code tab, set the Code generation mode field to User written body.

Caution: Once you set Code generation mode to User Written Body, this transformation's code becomes static and no longer automatically adjusts to any changes made to its properties.
